The VSC8244HG is a quad port Gigabit Ethernet transceiver designed for low-cost RGMII and RTBI switch and router applications. It is the industry's smallest and lowest power transceiver, consuming 30% less power in 1000BASE-T mode compared to its competitors. With its compact 19mm x 19mm BGA package, it is perfect for high-density switch applications. The VSC8244HG incorporates Vitesse's mixed signal and DSP architecture to deliver robust performance.
