Description
The LIU01FP is a quad line interface component designed for both North American (T1/DS1) and European (E1/CEPT) applications. It functions similarly to the Lucent T7698 and has two modes of operation. The direct logic control mode allows for architecture definition, loopback initiation, and alarm monitoring without the need for a microprocessor. The microprocessor mode, on the other hand, provides a parallel microprocessor interface for configuration. The interface is compatible with various commercially available microprocessors.
