The YDA153-PZ is a high efficient digital audio power amplifier IC designed for operation on a single 5V power supply. It is capable of providing an output power of 2.5W per channel, which is at the highest level among devices operating on a single 5V power supply. With Yamaha's proprietary modulation system, this IC offers low distortion and high signal-to-noise ratio, making it one of the top digital amplifiers in its class. The YDA153-PZ accepts analog signals, converts them into digital pulses using the digital modulation circuitry, and outputs the signals through large current capacity buffers. The outputted digital pulses are then converted into audio signals through an external low pass filter and sent to the speakers.
