The MIC5319-1.8YML is a high-performance linear voltage regulator designed for electronic components. It is capable of providing a stable output voltage with minimal noise while consuming low ground current. This regulator offers an ultra-low dropout voltage of 200mV at 500mA and operates within an input voltage range of 2.5 to 5.5V. The MIC5319-1.8YML is designed to be compatible with ceramic output capacitors, ensuring stability and efficient operation. With a low output noise of 40µVrms and a quiescent current of 90µA, this regulator delivers high performance. It also features a high PSRR of up to 70dB at 1kHz, allowing for excellent noise rejection. The MIC5319-1.8YML has a fast turn-on time of 40µs and offers high output accuracy with ±1.0% initial accuracy and ±2.0% accuracy over temperature. It is equipped with thermal shutdown protection and current-limit protection for enhanced safety. The regulator can be enabled or disabled through a logic-controlled enable pin. It is available in a compact 2mm x 2mm MLF® package for continuous operation at 500mA and a thin SOT-23-5 package for peak operation at 500mA.
