Description
Electronic Component Model: ERA.3Y.415.CLL is a circular connector designed specifically for outdoor applications. It includes an inner sleeve and two seals to prevent penetration of solids or liquids into the housing formed by the plug, free socket, fixed socket, or coupler. This connector is watertight when mated, with a protection index of IP 68 as per IEC 60529 standard (in mated condition) when correctly assembled to an appropriate cable (IP 66 otherwise). It features a push-pull latching system for security, and comes in both unipole types transmitting current up to 230 A and multipole types with up to 106 contacts. It offers a wide range of models to satisfy most applications and provides 360° screening for full EMC shielding. The connector is designed for a watertight connection, with polarization by stepped insert (half-moon) fitted with male and female contacts. It supports solder or print contacts (straight or elbow) and has a rugged housing for extreme working conditions.
