  • Description

    The AD7528KNZ is a dual 8-bit digital-analog converter designed as a digital to analog converter (DAC) used in different types of digital control applications. With a small 0.3" wide 20-lead DIP package or SMT and excellent DAC-to-DAC matching, this model is suitable for microprocessor interface applications. The device has separate on-chip latches for each DAC, allowing easy microprocessor interfacing. Data is transferred to either DAC data latch through a common 8-bit TTL/CMOS compatible input port. The AD7528KNZ’s load cycle is comparable to a random-access memory's write cycle, making it compatible with most 8-bit microprocessors, including 6800, 8080, 8085, and Z80. Further, the device works with +5 V to +15 V power and draws only 20mW of power.
