Description
The EE80C186XL20 is a high integration 16-bit microprocessor designed by Innovasic Semiconductor. It is object-code compatible with the 8086/8088 microprocessors and adds ten new instruction types to the 8086/8088 instruction set. With its set of base peripherals, including a numeric interface, interrupt control unit, chip-select unit/Ready Generation Logic, DRAM refresh control unit, Power-Save Control unit, DMA, and three 16-bit timer/counters, it is suitable for a wide range of embedded applications. The EE80C186XL20 operates at 5.0 volts ± 10% and offers crystal supports for internal 20–25 MHz operation. It is available in 68-Lead Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier (PLCC) and 80-Lead Plastic Quad Flat Pack (PQFP) and Low Profile Quad Flat Pack (LQFP) options.
