Description
CD4520BM is an electronic component that falls under the category of Counters / Dividers. It consists of two identical, internally synchronous 4-stage counters - CD4518BMS Dual BCD Up Counter and CD4520BMS Dual Binary Up Counter. These counters are equipped with interchangeable CLOCK and ENABLE lines, allowing them to increment on either the positive-going or negative-going transition. When the ENABLE input is held high, the counter advances on each positive-going transition of the CLOCK. The counters can be cleared by applying high levels to their RESET lines. In the cascaded ripple mode, the Q4 output is connected to the enable input of the subsequent counter, with the CLOCK input of the latter held low.
