Description
The VHC132 is an advanced high-speed CMOS quad 2-input Schmitt NAND gate. It is fabricated with sub-micron silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C2MOS technology. The gate has a high speed of tPD = 3.9 ns (TYP.) at VCC = 5V and low power dissipation with ICC = 2 µA (MAX.) at TA=25°C. It also has a typical hysteresis of Vh = 1V at VCC = 4.5V and power down protection on inputs. The output impedance is symmetrical with |IOH| = IOL = 8 mA (MIN), and the propagation delays are balanced with tPLH ≅ tPHL. The operating voltage range is VCC(OPR) = 2V to 5.5V, and the pin and function are compatible with the 74 series 132. The VHC132 offers improved latch-up immunity and has low noise with a maximum VOLP of 0.8V.
