Description
The X9015US8IZ-2.7 is a single digitally controlled (XDCP™) potentiometer that consists of a string of 31 resistors. It is a 32 tap potentiometer that is volatile, meaning its settings are not retained when power is removed. The wiper output of this potentiometer can be connected to any of the nodes between the connecting resistors, and the connection point of the wiper is determined by information communicated to the device on the 3-wire port. The tap position can be changed by a falling edge on the increment pin and the direction of wiper movement is determined by the state of the up/down pin. The X9015US8IZ-2.7 can be used in various applications that require a digitally controlled variable resistor to set analog values.
