Description
The DS1746W-120 is a real-time clock/calendar (RTC) and non-volatile static RAM with a byte-wide interface. It is fully compliant with the year 2000 (Y2K) standard. The clock registers reside in the eight top RAM locations and are accessed in the same manner as static RAM with corrections for the date of each month and leap year being made automatically. It has a BCD coded century, year, month, date, day, hours, minutes, and seconds data with automatic leap year compensation that is valid up to the year 2100.

- The PowerCap module board is surface-mountable and has a replaceable battery (PowerCap) with a crystal and a power-on reset output
