Description
The PCA9547PW,118 is an octal bidirectional translating multiplexer controlled by the I 2 C-bus. It allows for voltage level translation between 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V buses and supports hot insertion. The device has 3 address pins that allow for up to 8 devices to be connected to the I 2 C-bus. The PCA9547PW,118 has low standby current and operates within a power supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V. It also has 5V tolerant inputs and supports clock frequencies from 0Hz to 400kHz. The PCA9547PW,118 offers ESD protection and latch-up testing is done to JEDEC Standard JESD78 which exceeds 100mA. It is available in packages such as SO24, TSSOP24, and HVQFN24.
