Description
The MAX5436EUB+T is a 128-tap high-voltage digital potentiometer in a compact 10-pin µMAX package. It is designed to replace mechanical potentiometers with a digital interface. The MAX5436EUB+T operates at a voltage range of ±5V to ±15V and is powered by a separate +2.7V to +5.25V supply voltage (VCC). The resistor string uses its own analog supplies (VDD and VSS) which require a voltage range of VDD - VSS to be greater than 9V and less than 31.5V. The device features low temperature coefficients, a 3-wire SPI™/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™-compatible serial interface, and a power-on reset to midscale. It is guaranteed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
