Description
The CPC7583BB is a monolithic solid-state switch in a 28-pin surface mount SOIC package. It is designed to replace three 2-Form-C electromechanical relays on analog line cards used in Central Office, Access, and PBX equipment. This device incorporates solid-state switches for various functions including tip and ring line break, ring injection/ring return, line test access, test in access, and ringing generator testing. With a simple logic level input control, the CPC7583BB offers "break-before-make" or "make-before-break" switch operation. It operates on a +5V supply and has four different versions. The CPC7583BA and CPC7583BC versions include integrated protection SCR, while the CPC7583BC and CPC7583BD versions contain an additional logic state (details provided in later sections).
