The LPC1817JET100E is a microcontroller in the LPC185x/3x/2x/1x series, which are ARM Cortex-M3 based microcontrollers designed for embedded applications. These microcontrollers feature the ARM Cortex-M3 processor running at CPU frequencies of up to 180 MHz, offering low power consumption, enhanced debug features, and a high level of support block integration.

- 12 MHz internal RC oscillator trimmed to 3% accuracy over temperature and voltage (1.5% accuracy for Tamb = 0 °C to 85 °C)
- Ultra-low power RTC crystal oscillator
- Three PLLs for CPU operation up to the maximum CPU rate without the need for a high-frequency crystal
