Description

The MAX3784UTE is a 5Gbps equalizer designed to compensate for transmission-medium losses in up to 40in of FR-4. It is optimized for short-run length and balanced codes such as 8b10b, commonly used in multiplexed 1.25Gbps Ethernet systems and 4.25Gbps Fibre Channel. This electronic component utilizes differential CML data inputs and outputs, and offers a standby mode to reduce power consumption when not in use. The MAX3784UTE comes in a compact 4mm × 4mm, 16-pin QFN package, consuming only 185mW at +3.3V.
