Description
The ATMEGA64-16AU is a 8-bit low-power CMOS Microcontroller Unit based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It executes powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, achieving throughputs approaching 1MIPS per MHz. This feature allows the system to optimize power consumption versus processing speed. Moreover, the ATmega64 achieves throughputs up to ten times faster compared to conventional CISC microcontrollers by combining a rich instruction set with 32 general-purpose working registers.
