Description
The HFBR-4525Z is a fiber optic connector belonging to the HFBR-45xxZ series of Avago Technologies. It is a versatile link connector of plastic fiber optic cables that come with a single step-index fiber sheathed in a black polyethylene jacket. The duplex fiber consists of two simplex fibers joined with a zipcord web.
Specifications and features
The HFBR-4525Z connector is compatible with the Avago Versatile Link Family of connectors and fiber optic components. The device comes with plastic optical fiber (POF) that has a diameter of 1mm measured in 1 grade with typical attenuation ranging from 0.19dB/m (-40°C to +85°C). It is a high-performance extra low loss POF with excellent halogen-free characteristics.
Application Scenarios
The HFBR-4525Z connector is excellent for industrial data links for factory automation and plant control. Its intra-system links make it fit for board-to-board, rack-to-rack, and telecommunications switching systems. It is also ideal for computer-to-peripheral data links, PC bus extension, proprietary LANs, digitalized video, medical instruments, reduction of lighting, and voltage transient susceptibility and high voltage isolation.
