Description
The MT88L85ANR1 is a monolithic DTMF transceiver with call progress filter, which is often used in telecommunication interface ICs. It is designed with CMOS technology, offering high reliability and low power consumption. The industry standard MT8870 DTMF receiver is used in the receiver section while a switched capacitor D/A converter is employed in the transmitter section for low distortion, high accuracy DTMF signaling. The internal counters provide a burst mode such that tone bursts can be transmitted with precise timing. The call progress filter feature can be selected to allow a microprocessor to analyze call progress tones.
