Description
The DS12CR887-33+ is a real-time clock (RTC) and a drop-in replacement for the DS1285 and DS1287. It is designed to provide accurate timekeeping and date tracking. The device features a quartz crystal and a lithium energy source that are integrated into a 24-pin encapsulated DIP package. It offers various time representations, including binary or BCD, and supports both 12-hour and 24-hour clocks. The RTC also includes a daylight saving time option and 114 bytes of battery-backed RAM for data storage.
