The LT1508CS is a complete solution for universal off-line switching power supplies utilizing active power factor correction. It is specially designed for PFC (Power Factor Correction) applications. The LT1508CS is similar to the LT1248 PFC controller, with the EN/SYNC pin removed as the PFC and PWM are synchronized internally. This model provides reliable and efficient power factor correction for a wide range of load currents.
