Description
The ZSR485N8 is a three terminal fixed positive voltage regulator that is designed to provide local voltage regulation in various applications. It features internal circuit current limit and thermal shutdown, making it highly resistant to damage. The device allows for the creation of any custom voltage within the range of 2.85 to 12 volts. It is available in both a small outline surface mount package, ideal for space-saving applications, and a through-hole TO92 style package. The ZSR485N8 is known for its superior performance compared to other local voltage regulators, with a tight initial output voltage tolerance of 2.5% and a quiescent current of typically 350µA. It is completely stable without the need for any external components.
