    The HGTG12N60A4D is a MOS gated high voltage switching device that combines the advantages of MOSFETs and bipolar transistors. It has a high input impedance like a MOSFET and a low on-state conduction loss like a bipolar transistor. The on-state voltage drop only varies moderately between 25oC and 150oC. This IGBT is ideal for high voltage switching applications that require low conduction losses, especially in high frequency switch mode power supplies.
