Description
The SA572DG is a dual-channel, high-performance gain control circuit designed for dynamic range compression or expansion. It features a full-wave rectifier to detect the average value of the input signal, a linearized, temperature compensated variable gain cell (△G), and a dynamic time constant buffer. This compandor offers independent control of dynamic attack and recovery time with minimum external components, as well as improved low frequency gain control ripple distortion compared to previous models. It is suitable for noise reduction in high-performance audio systems, communication systems, and video recording applications.
