Description
The 74LVT74DB is a dual positive edge-triggered D-type flip-flop used in electronic circuits. It features individual data, clock, set, and reset inputs, as well as true and complementary outputs. The set (SD) and reset (RD) inputs are asynchronous active low, meaning they operate independently of the clock input.
When the set and reset inputs are inactive (high), the data at the D input is transferred to the Q and Q outputs on the low-to-high transition of the clock. To ensure predictable operation, the data must be stable just one setup time prior to the low-to-high transition of the clock. It's important to note that the clock triggering occurs at a voltage level and is not directly related to the transition time of the positive-going pulse.
After the hold time interval, the data at the D input can be changed without affecting the levels of the output.
