Description
The PCA9544APW,112 is a 1-of-4 bidirectional translating multiplexer, controlled via the I2C-bus. It features four SCx/SDx downstream pairs, or channels, where only one channel is selected at a time. The selection is determined by the programmable control register. The PCA9544APW,112 also provides four interrupt inputs and one interrupt output. The multiplexer has a power-on reset function that puts the registers in their default state and initializes the I2C-bus state machine with no channels selected. It allows voltage level translation between 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V buses without the need for additional protection. The PCA9544APW,112 is 5V tolerant and comes in three package options: SO20, TSSOP20, and HVQFN20.
