Description
The MAX11802EWC+T is a low-power touch-screen controller designed for power-sensitive applications such as handheld equipment. The device includes a 12-bit SAR ADC and a multiplexer that connects to a resistive touch-screen panel. The device has a digital serial interface for communication and operates on a single supply voltage of 1.70V to 3.6V. It has two operating modes, Direct and Autonomous, and features data filtering, aperture mode, and touch-detect pullup resistors for noise reduction, spatial filtering, and low-power operation. It also has two interface options: a 25MHz SPI interface and a 400kHz I2C interface. The device includes ESD protection of ±4kV HBM and ±8kV HBM (X+, X-, Y+, Y-), ±1kV CDM, and ±200V MM.
