Description
The SMSC USB2514AEZG is a low-power, OEM configurable, MTT hub controller IC product for embedded USB solutions. It supports low-speed, full-speed, and hi-speed downstream devices on all of the enabled downstream ports. The USB2514AEZG is fully footprint compatible with USB251x products as a direct drop-in replacement. It features full power management with individual or ganged power control of each downstream port, integrated USB termination and pull-up/pulldown resistors, and customizable vendor ID, product ID, and device ID. The USB2514AEZG also provides 4 kilovolts of HBM JESD22-A114F ESD protection and supports self- or bus-powered operation. It is available in lead-free RoHS compliant packages.

- Supports self- or bus-powered operation
- Supports USB Battery Charging specification Rev. 1.1 for Charging Downstream Ports (CDP)
- Lead-free RoHS compliant packages available in 36-pin QFN (6x6mm), 48-pin QFN (7x7mm), and 64-pin QFN (9x9mm)
- Supports industrial temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC (USB251xi, USB2512Ai, and USB251xBi models)
- Supports extended commercial temperature range of 0ºC to +85ºC (USB251xB models)
