The AP1086 is a linear voltage regulator with a low dropout of 1.4V at full load current, making it capable of providing a well-regulated output voltage of 1.25V to 5.0V with input supply of 4.7V to 12V for various applications, especially for low voltage IC applications like high-speed bus termination, low current 3.3V logic supply, and VGA card. This regulator is characterized by an output current capability of 1.5A.
