UC3842B、UC3843B 系列为高性能固定频率电流模式控制器。此类器件专门针对离线和 DC-DC 转换器应用而设计，为设计人员提供了外部部件极少的成本高效方案。这些集成电路具有振荡器、温度补偿参考、高增益误差放大器、电流传感比较器和高电流图腾柱输出，适用于驱动功率 MOSFET。还包括了保护功能，有输入和参考欠压锁定且均具有迟滞、按周期电流限制、用于单脉冲计量的锁存，以及每隔一个振荡器周期即对输出进行间隔关断的触发器，可将输出停滞时间编程为 50% 到 70%。此类器件采用 8 引脚双列直插和表面贴装 (SO-8) 塑料封装以及 14 引脚塑料表面贴装 (SO-14) 封装。SO-14 封装具有单独的电源和接地引脚用于图腾柱输出级。UCX844B 的 UVLO 阈值为 16 V（开）和 10 V（关），适用于离线转换器。UCX845B 针对 UVLO 阈值为 8.5 V（开）和 7.6 V（关）的低电压阈值而量身定制。
