Description
The MC100EP16VBD is a high-performance differential receiver/driver belonging to the category of special logic ICs. This IC is equivalent to the EP16 and LVEP16 devices but has a high-gain output. It comes with QHG and QHG outputs with a DC gain several times larger than the DC gain of an EP16. The VBB pin is exclusively available in this device which is an internally generated voltage supply used as a switching reference voltage for single-ended input conditions or rebias AC coupled inputs. Special considerations are required for differential inputs under No Signal conditions to prevent instability. The 100 Series contains temperature compensation for better performance.
