Description
The U6268B-MFPG3Y is an interface IC designed for remote automotive sensors. This component has two identical interface channels which supply external sensors with a pre-regulated smoothed voltage and a supply current of up to 50mA. The external units transmit digital information back to the interface by current modulation.

Application Scenarios
The U6268B-MFPG3Y is ideal for use in automotive airbag modules where it is used to link the crash sensors in the driver and passenger door with the main airbag unit in the dashboard.
