Electronic Component Model: XC17S50ASC is a general-purpose timer unit that has very flexible multifunctional timer structures. It can be used for various purposes such as timing, event counting, pulse width measurement, pulse generation, and frequency multiplication. It incorporates five 16-bit timers grouped into two timer blocks, GPT1 and GPT2. Each timer in each block can operate independently in different modes and can be concatenated with another timer of the same block. The timers also have alternate input/output functions and specific interrupts associated with them.
