Description
The AB11BV-FA is a subminiature push switch manufactured by NKK Switches. It is specifically designed for logic-level applications and is approximately 1/3 the size of Series M switches, allowing it to save space on PC boards. The switch features a totally sealed body construction, which prevents contact contamination and allows for automated soldering and cleaning, saving both time and money. It also incorporates NKK's award-winning STC contact mechanism, providing smoother, positive detent actuation, increased contact stability, and unparalleled logic-level reliability. The terminals of the AB11BV-FA are either molded-in, epoxy sealed, or ultrasonically welded, effectively locking out flux, solvents, and other contaminants. The switch has a .100" x .100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) terminal spacing that conforms to standard PC board grid spacing, and matching indicators are available.
