Description

The DS1707/DS1708 3.3- or 5.0-Volt MicroMonitor is a supervisor electronic component that monitors three vital conditions for a microprocessor: power supply, voltage sense, and external override. It features a precision temperature-compensated reference and comparator circuit for maximum protection. When an out-of-tolerance condition is detected, a non-maskable interrupt is generated. Additionally, a power fail signal is generated when the voltage degrades, forcing the reset to an active state. The reset signal remains active for a minimum of 130 ms when VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition to allow the power supply and processor to stabilize.
