Description

The DS1832S+ is a supervisory circuit designed for monitoring three critical parameters for a microprocessor: software execution, power supply, and external override. The device uses a precision temperature-compensated reference and comparator circuit to check the status of VCC. When an out-of-tolerance condition occurs, an internal power-fail signal is generated, triggering the active state of resets. Upon VCC returning to an in-tolerance condition, the reset signals are kept in the active state for at least 250 ms for the power supply and processor to stabilize.
