The MAX3286CTI+T is a high-speed laser driver designed for fiber optic LAN transmitters, specifically optimized for Gigabit Ethernet applications. It is part of the MAX3286/MAX3296 series of products. This laser driver incorporates a bias generator, laser modulator, and comprehensive safety features. With automatic power control (APC), it adjusts the laser bias current to maintain a constant average optical power, regardless of temperature or laser properties. The MAX3286CTI+T is compatible with shortwave (780nm to 850nm) or longwave (1300nm) laser diodes, as well as vertical cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs).
