Description
The MAX8915IWW+T is a smart, low-voltage, P-channel, MOSFET power switch designed for high-side load-switching applications. It operates with inputs from 2.7V to 5.5V, making it suitable for both 3V and 5V systems. The switch has internal current-limiting circuitry to protect against overload, as well as thermal overload protection to limit power dissipation and junction temperatures. With a maximum current limit of 500mA, the switch can be programmed with a resistor for specific current requirements. It has a low quiescent supply current of 13µA when on and 0.1µA when off. The MAX8915IWW+T is available in an 8-pin µMAX package.
