Electronic Component Model: QT140-AS is a capacitive touch sensor device that is designed specifically for touch controls. It includes all the necessary hardware and signal processing functions to provide stable sensing under various conditions. With only one low-cost capacitor per channel required for operation, it offers independent QT touch circuits and individual logic outputs per channel (open drain). The device can project prox fields through any dielectric and allows sensitivity to be easily adjusted on a per-channel basis. It operates on a single supply of 3~5.5V and consumes 5mA. Additionally, it offers features such as toggle mode for on/off control, auto-recal timeout options, and Adjacent Key Suppression. Compared to mechanical switches, this model is more cost-effective per key and also comes with an evaluation board with backlighting (part number E160).
