    The SN74LS541N is an octal buffer and line driver designed for use as a memory address driver, clock driver, and bus-oriented transmitter/receiver. Its pinouts are on the opposite side of the package as compared to the LS241, and hence, it is a favorable option for output ports for microprocessors as it makes the layout easier and allows for greater PC board density.
