The KA7905TU is a three-terminal negative regulator included in the KA79XX/KA79XXA series, used in a wide range of applications with output voltages of -5, -6, -8, -9, -12, -15, -18, -24V. It is a linear voltage regulator available in TO-220 package that employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe operating area protection, making it essentially indestructible.
