Description
The MC10EL/100EL16 is a differential receiver, ideal for interfacing with high-frequency sources. It is functionally equivalent to the E116 device but offers higher performance capabilities. The device has significantly faster output transition times compared to the E116 model. It features a VBB pin, which is an internally generated voltage supply unique to this device. The unused differential input can be connected to VBB as a switching reference voltage for single-ended input conditions. VBB can also rebias AC-coupled inputs. When VBB is used, it should be decoupled from VCC via a 0.01 F capacitor, and the current sourcing or sinking should be limited to 0.5 mA. When VBB is not used, it should be left open. Under open input conditions, the internal input clamps will force the Q output LOW. The 100 Series of this model contains temperature compensation.
