Description
This article introduces the Philips Semiconductors XA-G37 microcontroller, which belongs to the XA family of 16-bit single-chip microcontrollers. These microcontrollers are designed for high-performance embedded applications and are cost-effective enough for high-volume, low-cost applications.
Specifications and features
The XA-G37 has a 20-bit address range with 1 megabyte for each program and data space. It supports up to 24-bit addresses. The microcontroller operates at a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. It has 32K bytes on-chip EPROM program memory and 512 bytes of on-chip data RAM. The microcontroller has three counter/timers with enhanced features, equivalent to 80C51 T0, T1, and T2, a watchdog timer, two enhanced UARTs, four 8-bit I/O ports with four programmable output configurations, in 44-pin PLCC and 44-pin LQFP packages.
