    The LP3966ES-1.8 is a linear voltage regulator designed for portable RF and wireless applications with demanding performance and space requirements. It delivers ultra-low noise and low quiescent current, making it ideal for battery-powered systems. The regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, extending the battery life. It also works with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing the board space needed for power applications. The LP3966ES-1.8 features a noise bypass pin for further reduction of output noise. It has a shutdown mode with a minimal current consumption of less than 0.01µA and a fast turn-on time of less than 50µs. This model is available in the 5-lead SC-70 package.
