Electronic Component Model: 74S138 is a Schottky-clamped circuit designed for high-performance memory decoding or data-routing applications. It has very short propagation delay times, making it suitable for use in high-performance memory systems. When used with high-speed memories, the delay times of the decoder are usually less than the typical access time of the memory, resulting in a negligible system delay.
