Description
The AS3515 is a single-chip, low-power electronic component model that functions as an MPEG layer 2/3 and MPEG2-AAC audio stereo decoder. It also includes the G.729 Annex A speech compression and decompression technology, making it suitable for memory-based or broadcast applications. Additional features can be added through download software, such as a CELP voice decoder or Micronas SC4 (ADPCM) encoder/decoder.
