Description

The MAX703CSA is a microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit designed for power-supply monitoring and battery control functions in μP systems. It reduces the complexity and number of components required for these functions, improving system reliability and accuracy. The MAX703CSA is available in 8-pin DIP and SO packages, and provides an active-low reset during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions. It also features battery-backup switching, a 1.25V threshold detector for power-fail warning, and an active-low manual reset input. The MAX703CSA generates a reset when the supply drops below 4.65V.
