The LT1166CS8#PBF is a gate drive IC used in controlling class AB output current in high powered amplifiers. When paired with external transistors, the circuit turns into a unity-gain voltage follower without the need for critical transistor matching or quiescent current adjustments. This IC is ideal for power MOSFET devices and can be paralleled with multiple output stages to achieve higher output current.
