Description
The DS1344D-3+ is a low-current real-time clock (RTC) that provides accurate timekeeping and operates in either 24-hour or 12-hour format. It has a low standby current, allowing for longer life from a backup supply source. The clock/calendar feature provides information on seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year. It automatically adjusts the date at the end of the month and includes leap year compensation. The DS1344D-3+ supports high-ESR crystals and is compatible with crystal ESR up to 100kΩ. It comes in a 20-pin TSSOP or 14-pin TDFN package and is UL recognized.
