Description

Electronic Component Model: IDT82P2281PFG is a single T1/E1/J1 long haul/short haul transceiver. It supports T1/E1/J1 line interface and can be configured as T1, E1 or J1. The device has a high-performance signal (HPS) for 1+1 protection without external relays. It has a selectable internal line termination impedance and supports AMI/B8ZS (for T1/J1) and AMI/HDB3 (for E1) line encoding/decoding. The transceiver provides T1/E1/J1 short haul pulse templates, long haul LBO, and user programmable arbitrary pulse template. It also supports T1.102 line monitor and has transmit line short-circuit detection and protection. The device has separate transmit and receive jitter attenuators and loss of signal indication with programmable thresholds. It supports analog loopback, digital loopback, and remote loopback. The receiver and transmitter can be individually powered down.
